Comments:
Unfortunately, I was unable to observe Wadha Ali teaching today – as was planned –
because there were NO children in attendance at Al Shamkha KG (due to the approaching
holiday break …).

Instead, I spoke to Wadha’s MST – at length – about her progress during the Teaching
Practice; and we also discussed Wadha’s Final Assessment.

Strengths:
- Wadha was punctual, present and highly active during the entire length of TP
- Assisted her MST in conducting Baseline Assessments and did this very well
- Worked very closely with children at all times
- Developed solid classroom management strategies
- Planned effective, fun and age appropriate activities
- Took initiative and was independent when this was required
- Developed excellent relationships with her students and with all stakeholders at
Al Shamkha Kg

Areas for improvement:

- Wadha needs to find her teacher’s voice (she needs to practice modulating it and
using it as a tool to create interest and also to help with behavioral management)

Overall, Wadha’s MST was very, very happy to have had her as a student teacher. Wadha
developed tremendously during this TP and she made an important contribution within her
assigned classroom and school. A very successful TP experience indeed!
