SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE AGENCY:

Since 1982 Ryves Youth Center offer services to any child who walks through the
doors. We serve children ages three to 17 with age-appropriate programming.
All activities are free to the children.

Want parents to feel like they can come to the center and ask for help.

Preschool for the homeless that does not disqualify the child if the family finds a
home.

SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE SPEAKER:

Mentors- receive their only meals either at school or at Ryves Youth Center at
Etling Hall. These children often get themselves up and ready for school. Most of
children are below the poverty line and are quite happy to receive new or
donated clothing and accessories. He has grandkids of kids he had mentored

VARIOUS EMPLOYMENT POSITIONS IN THE AGENCY:


Volunteers are needed to help with existing activities and develop new programs,
and there are countless ways to help. Volunteers are used for recreational
activities such as basketball, volleyball, and other activities. Ryves Hall also has
volunteers help with educational activities such as reading and tutoring. Listed
below are some of the programs and services we provide.

INTERN AND VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCES AVAILABLE:


Mentoring, volunteering, trauma informing mentoring
Mentoring program, takes a full year, you promise the child and they promise
you to promise to commit to two hours a week. Trauma kids who need support.
Educational coordinator – bachelors degree, lots of experience
Mentoring coordinator- national grant funded through the catholic church
