Learning Story ‘Name: Jemmalynn Date: 03/28/2018 ‘Title: What Objects Are Magnetic Written By: Tori James Story Jemmalynn you had such great time doing the science experiment! You took your time looking through the sand crying co find the magnetic objects with the magnet you chose. You found the paper clips, pins, and nails that were buried inside. You even found the objects that weren't atracted to your magnet. You told me that they were not metal and it wouldn't attract your magnet. Very good! By doing this science experiment with Jemmalynn today, I provided the opportunity for her to distinguish the differene objects from being magnetic ro non-magnetic. Jemmalynn used the magnet she chose to seek out the magnetic objects among the sand thar was in the box, Throughout the experiment, Jemmalynn showed so much curiosity, she asked questions, and came up with explanation on why the other objects weren't attracted to the magnet. Eollow Up and Analysis I feel that Jemmalynn enjoyed this science experiment, and it was great seeing her ecstatic about the object she found clinging to her magnet. As a follow to this experiment, I will see what we could do ro make the non-magnetic objects magnetic.
