    CIRCULAR

    A question arose as to whether an M,Sc. in Biotechnology is eligible to apply and get

    selected for a post of Assistant Professor in Botany or ZooloBy if advertised.

    The matter was referred to Gauhati University for opinion and view. The view
    furnished by the University has been examined.

    Based on the view so received, it is provided that only M.Sc. in Botany and Zoology
    will be eligible to apply for the post advertised for Botany and zoology.
    All Principals to take action accordingly.
