Dear Ms. Reynolds:

I am writing to you to express my interest in obtaining the position of District

Administrator for ENL and World Languages, posted April 9th, 2018. I fel that I would be
an asset to both the district and the department.

As an administrator, my mission is to ultimately support and advocate for all students and
their families. In order to do this, I plan to work with teachers to collaboratively create a
comprehensive, goal-oriented plan to meet the needs of second language learners and
English Language Learners alike. As my experience in both administration and teaching
has allowed be to become extremely well-versed in the new ENL regulations, and my
post-graduate studies have allowed me to research current policies affecting both world
language and ENL programs, I’d love to opportunity to take this knowledge and transfer
it to enhancing the program. My passion for the field has been showcased in my
administration, pedagogy, and in publications, and I look forward to being able to foster a
similar sense of devotion in all stakeholders; together, I hope to achieve the best for our
students, families, and district.

In my administrative and teaching experiences, I have learned how talented and

committed professionals can make a difference in the lives of second language learners,
English Language Learners, and their families. I would be delighted to be considered for
a position of District Administrator for ENL and World Languages, and to continue to
encourage and effectuate the efforts of the Deer Park faculty. I look forward to speaking
with you further about my qualifications and how I can be an asset to the district in an
administrative capacity.
