Working of the system:


Home page

The home page is the main page of the HIES. It has different modules

1. About us
About us contains the information of our system and its functioning.

2. Pharmacy
 The pharmacy will contain the details of the medicines.
 The patients can also search the medicines and their prices.
 Patient can also select the medicine write the patient name and submit it.
 The medicine will be granted to the patient.
 The bill of the medicines will be calculated in Rupees accurately with respect to their
prices.
 The user can be able to go back on the previous page
3. Laboratory
 The patients can also search the laboratory tests and their prices alphabetically.
 Patient can also select the test write the patient name and submit it.
 The appointment of the patient for the requested test will be made.

4. Contact Us

 The patient can also contact to the management through contact us page.
 Patient will enter his name and email address and leave the message.
 The admin will respond to the message sender.
This system is designed to be used by

1. Patient Login
2. Administrator Login
3. Physician Login
It gives the patients the facility to take the appointment of the concerned physician; the patient
can also search for the laboratory tests and take the appointment for tests, from the pharmacy
module the patient will be able to get the medicines prescribed to him/her.

The physician can see all the patients who have appointments with him/her.

Admin can see the messages left by the patient and can also see the physician record and edit
them. The admin can generate the report containing the detail of the patient and send it to the
patient.

1. Patient Login:
 The patient login includes the patient name and password.
 If the patient enters the wrong patient name and password then it will give a message
“User name and password invalid”
 The password should be between 6-9 characters.
 If he/she is already a member only then he/she can login otherwise he/she has to register
himself.
1.1.Patient Registration:

 The registration page includes the details of the patient.


 The patient will enter the name, father name, gender, age, status, blood group, address,
cell number, cnic, email, and password for his account.
 No field will be left emptied. If any field will be left emptied then it will give an error
message “No field can be left emptied”
 The information of the patient is stored in the database to keep the record of the patient.
 The user can be able to go back on the home page or go back on the previous page.
1.2.Patient Appointment:

 The patient after logging in has to select the physician which he/she want to visit.
 The patient will give the description of his/her disease.
 In this way the appointment of the patient is done with the physician whom he selected.

2. Physician Login:
 The physician after logging in will view his/her patients.
 The physician will click on the view patient button it will display the details of the patient
who has appointment.
 The physician will enter the name of the patient and his/her disease type and check the
patient
 If his/her condition is serious he/she will send him to the ward and check other patient,
the selected patient will be removed from the appointed patients list.
 The patient disease history and his record will be confidential and no one will be able to
check it except doctor.

3. Administration Login:

 The adninistrator has his own name and password


 If wrong name and password is entered “Login unsuccessful” message will be displayed.
 If the unauthorized person want to login “Login unsuccessfull” message will be
displayed.
 The Admin will be able to register doctor see doctors records, edit the record, view
laboratory test appinmentl and see the messages.
 The Doctors record and their details will be confidiential and no one except admin will be
allowed to access them

 The admin can view the physician record can update and delete them.
 The admin can edit the record of the physicians and can also delete it.
 The admin can view the requests of the patient who made appointment of tests.
 The system should generate the report of the tests within 3 seconds.
 The generated report will contain the patient name, the test he wants and the total bill.
The bill of the required test should be accurately calculated by the system in Rupees.
 Admin will be able to email the report to the patient by just clicking the “send email to
visitor” button

The admin can also see the messages left by the patient for any queries
