Play time with Aya!

Assalamu Alaikum and Kia Ora

Arazu.
It has been an amazing experience
caring for you at the under two
room! Mommy told me how much
you love coming to the center now,
and how you drag her hand and
wait at the door whenever she
wants to drop your sisters to
school. I noticed that it is becoming
easier for you to say goodbye to
your mother.
You give her a cuddle and jump
straight away into my arms!
Alhamdulillah it is heart warming to see you happy settle and feel
that you belong here.
Recently I noticed that you like to bring toys for the younger babies
to play with, whenever Aya, Lilia or Mariam are around you make
sure to bring them toys.
You actually go and get them a variety of choices.
What learning occurred?
Arazu is learning about ways she
can play with other children,
developing strategies and skills for
initiating maintaining and enjoying
relationships with others.

How can we extend this learning?

Over time and with guidance we
can encourage Arazu with and
alongside others.
