Let’s build them up

Assalamu Alaikum and Kia Ora Lilia,

Last Friday after we had lunch, you wanted to play so I put down,
gathered some blocks around you and watched you as you played.
You were very happy to see Aya joining.
You both giggled so loud as I
put the blocks on top of each
other and then pushed them to
fall.
I was so happy to see you
enjoying your time on your
own and with your friend too!

What learning occurred?

Lilia is learning about the
people and the preschool, she
is developing a sense of
belonging (which is her goal
this term). This means she is
developing trust in her teacher
to meet her needs throughout
the day.

How can we extend?

We can support Lilia as she
settles into preschool by
providing her with consistent people and routines, and by speaking
her language around her(Arabic).
