Cultural Diversity Committee (2017-Present)
o Collaborated with Students Unlimited to organize the Overcoming Obstacles event promoting
awareness for National Disabilities Awareness month.
o Assisted in organizing the Dia De Los Muertos event promoting awareness and celebrating this
traditional holiday on PCC’s campus.
o Represented PCC at UC Riverside’s CCC + LGBTQ+ Summit to engage with faculty,
administration, and students from 50 other California CCs on creating the spaces LGBTQ+
students need and how to navigate the necessary bureaucracy to begin creating LGBTQ+
student centers and/or safe spaces.

Third Wave Feminist Club (2017-Present)


o Serving as Inter-Club Council Representative.
o Represent Third Wave in ICC meetings and relay all relevant information back to the club.
o Assist in developing weekly presentations on various social justice issues.
o Assist in facilitating and moderating discussions at weekly club meetings.
o Assisted in organizing the Third Wave Art Show centering women and nonbinary and POC artists
and showcasing performances and a local Latinx band.

Mark Keppel Gay-Straight Alliance (2012-2015)


o Organized and led a small contingent to represent MKHS students at queer-centered events like
AIDS Walk, API Equality-LA’s Lunar New Year Parade contingent, USC’s Models of Pride, AAAJ
Advancing Justice Conference.
o Invited and collaborated with local organizations like Planned Parenthood and PFLAG SGV API
to speak to students.
