I taught English lesson for sound /u/.

My learning outcomes for the lesson were that

students would be able to recognize and write sound /u/. Students were disciple during

the lesson and they followed my rules because I applied different strategies and the most

effective strategy that worked well for me was the positive reinforcement strategy. This

strategy helped me to manage students’ behavior to the maximum because they were all

excited to get a smiley sticker on their hands. One aspect that did not went well with me that I

concentrated on the yellow group while they were working on the art activity and I spent long

time with them. In this way I did not pay attention to the other groups and the time passed with

observing their work and I was not able to assess their understanding. I missed the chance to

assets them and to check their understanding. When I will teach next time I will manage my

time by walking around the groups and not staying with a specific group all the time.
