Criterion A: Investigating

The researcher explained / stated his goal, showed the important relevance of his prior
learnings, and specified different relevant resources being used for the reliability of his work.

Criterion B: Planning

The student was able to define clearly the characteristics of his product, and showed concrete
plans in developing the project. Time management has been observed in developing the project.

Criterion C: Taking Action

The researcher came up with a good quality product explaining how he achieved the project’s
goal. Further studies were made to give the project more relevant information --- appropriately
showing his critical and creative thinking skills, and his communication and social skills.

Criterion D: Reflecting

The researcher was able to explain well the outcome of his project. This reflects how this IB
learner gained a lot of knowledge and experience in finishing this work.

Criterion A: Investigating

The student was able to state his goal and tagged it as personally challenging work, for he has
to learn programming all by himself. He has a little background about the subject, but fascinated by
how these programs / applications are useful to his everyday life. Sources were cited and focused on
one specific resource.

Criterion B: Planning

The product is relevant to the student since he is using programmed devices / gadgets on his
personal and daily school life. A concrete plan of action was developed to achieve his goal on time and
practiced excellent managing skills.

Criterion C: Taking Actions

An excellent product was created from what the student have learned from his research.
Challenges were present along the way, but was able to manage well --- demonstrating his critical and
creative thinking skills effectively. Shows his communication and social skills highly relevant.

Criterion D: Reflecting

The researcher was able to explain well the outcome of his work. This reflects how this IB
learner gained a lot of knowledge and experience in doing this project.
