ranging from hotel- and restaurant management to passenger-shipping and even to
municipalities and NGO´s offers me a good platform to broad and innovative
perspectives to the university-business life interface.
I have coached hundreds of Finnish and international bachelor- and master´s level
students to enter managerial and expert positions in business and public enterprises.
Since 2010 I have been working as Senior Lecturer specialized in Facility Management at
Laurea University of Applied Sciences in Espoo, Finland. At the moment I hold the
position of Development Manager at Laurea being in charge of Business Management
Degree Programs and a team of 25 lecturers.

I am Member of the Board in European Facility Management Network (EuroFM) and
Chairman of the Education Network Group in EuroFM. I have acted as Member of the
Board of Finnish Facility Management Association (FIFMA) since 2012. These networks
are “opportunity platforms” for me to act as an advisor and matchmaker for universities to
establish multi-disciplinary development and research projects as well as to bring
