Beetroot and black bean brownie

EQUIPMENT
food processor measuring spoons grater

measuring cups can opener small pot

baking dish (7x7) spatula baking paper

chopping board small knife colander

INGREDIENTS
1 small beetroot 10 dates, soaked

1 can of black beans 0.3 cup of oil

4 tablespoon cacao powder 0.5 cup quick oats

0.5 teaspoon baking powder 2 teaspoon vanilla essence, salt

WHAT TO DO

● Preheat oven to 180 ℃


Soak dates in hot water to soften for 5 minutes
Set up the food processor
Line baking dish with baking paper

● Wash and grate the beetroot


Strain the dates and chop them really small
Open the can of beans, strain and rinse very well

● Add dates and oil to the food processor and blend until creamy
Add the remaining ingredients and blend really smooth

● Using the spatula, scrape all dough into the baking dish
Bake for about 15 minutes.

● Remove from oven and place on serving plate. ​Serve warm or at room
temperature.
