Pediatric Nurses

purpose:​ focus on infants,children and adolescent medical needs and on their


treatments.Their specialized training allows them to be able to give young
patients and families emotional support and medical care.

Duties:
● Work with physicians or nurses to provide care
● Monitor health conditions
● Planing long term- care needs
● Performing minor medical operations
● Advising patients and families on illness
● Ordering medicine
● Developing screening
● Preffor a physical assessment
● Checking laborotial results

Education:
● Have gotten a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
● 3-4 years of science in high school
● Enroll in a nursing educational program. Two routers get a bachelor's
degree of science in nursing (BSN) for four years or get an associates
degree in nursing (ADN)
● Including maternity, pediatrics, clinics, long term care facilities, and surgery
including classes in nursing, anatomy ,microbiology, physiology, chemistry
and other behavioral science
● Bachelors of science in nursing usually takes four years which you learn
leadership roles, communication and critical thinking
● The (BSN) includes in depth physical and social science
● You can start finding a job in a location providing care for pediatric patients
like a pediatric office, emergency room,intensive care unit and hospital
clinic
● Pass he National council licensure examination also known as the
NCLEX-RN
