Futuro Simple – (Simple Future)

El Futuro Simple es un tiempo verbal que se utiliza para describir acciones que se
van a desarrollar en el futuro sin necesidad de aclarar en que momento se
producirán. Su equivalente en el idioma español es el Futuro Imperfecto.

I will study the lesson. Yo estudiaré la lección.

He will travel to London. Él viajará a Londres.

They will buy a new car. Ellos comprarán un nuevo auto.

Susan will visit her mother tomorrow.

Susan visitará a su madre mañana.

John will travel to New York the next month.

John viajará a Nueva York el próximo mes.

Negativas con contracción:

1. He won’t live in Boston. (Él no vivirá en Boston)

2. I won’t understand everything in the book. (Yo no entenderé todo en el libro)
3. She won’t want to visit London. (Ella no querrá visitar Londres)
4. He won’t play in the park tomorrow. (Él no jugará en el parque mañana)
5. I won’t go to class twice a week. (Yo no iré a clase dos veces a la semana)
6. He won’t do a lot favors to Kelly. (Él no hará muchos favores Kelly)
7. I won’t drive to San Francisco once a week. (Yo no manejaré a San Francisco
una vez a la semana)
8. She won’t seems to be very busy. (Ella no parecerá estar muy ocupada)
9. They won’t sell books there. (Ellos no venderán libros allí)
10. It won’t open at ten o’clock. (No abrirá a las 10)

la tarde a esta hora, él no estará enseñando matemáticas)

At this time next year, he will not be living in Boston. (Para estas fechas el año que
viene, él no estará viviendo en Boston)

At this time next year, he will not be speaking German. (Para estas fechas el año
que viene, él no estará hablando alemán)

Futuro Progresivo Afirmativo

If you come before lunch, she will be reading the newspaper. (Si vienes antes del
almuerzo, ella estará leyendo el periódico)

You will be working very hard tomorrow morning. (Tú estarás trabajando muy duro
mañana por la mañana)

Tomorrow afternoon at this time, he will be teaching mathematics. (Mañana por la

tarde a esta hora, él estará enseñando matemáticas)

At this time next year, he will be living in Boston. (Para estas fechas el año que
viene, él estará viviendo en Boston)

At this time next year, he will be speaking German. (Para estas fechas el año que
viene, él estará hablando alemán)
