Directions: Write a 50-word (minimum) reflection for each of the questions/statements

capitalization, punctuation and grammar.

Entries can include activities, training, observations, instructions, personal notes, etc. You can
include things that you saw and did and what equipment and technology was used. Your
responses may be shared with your mentor. Please be complete in your
reflections/thoughts/answers.

WHAT HAVE YOU ENJOYED MOST ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE IN WORK BASED
LEARNING THIS SEMESTER?

I have enjoyed being able to get to work more and get more hours. My
bosses told me that they loved having me earlier and so did I. Being
able to leave school earlier also gave me a lot more time to be able to do
homework before I had to go into work if I had a later shift.

WHAT ASPECTS OF WORK BASED LEARNING DID YOU FIND CHALLEGING AND WHY?

My most challenging aspect of work base learning was creating my

website. Sometimes I wasn’t able to get my documents uploaded or on
the right way. I had never made my own website before so I wasn’t fully
understood on how to work it but later on had overcome that.

HOW HAS YOUR TIME IN WORK BASED LEARNING PREPARED YOU FOR COLLEGE
AND FUTURE JOBS?

It helped me prepared for college because I’ve heard they have a lot of
online assignments and responsibilities. It showed me how to be more
dependent when I get home earlier and my mom isn’t there to tell me
to do things and get ready for work.
