GRAMMAR GRAMATICĂ

1. Construcţia to be going to urmată de infinitivul verbului care este

conjugat arată:

a. intenţia de a săvârşi în viitor acţiunea respectivă

They are going to have a party. Ei intenţionează să organizeze o petrecere.

I’m going to eat an apple. Intenţionez să mănânc un măr.
We are going to buy a new car. Intenţionăm să cumpărăm o maşină nouă.
Andy is going to live in Paris a whole year. Andy intenţionează să locuiască
la Paris un an întreg.

b. viitorul acţiunii exprimate în prezent

She is going to have a baby. O să aibă un copil.

It’s going to rain. O să plouă.
He is going to change his job. O să-şi schimbe slujba.
Sarah is going to study Chinese. Sarah o să înveţe chineza.

2. The Preposition Prepoziţia

Vă aduceţi aminte cu siguranţă că prepoziţiile sunt acele cuvinte care leagă

diferite părţi de vorbire între ele. În limba engleză, prepoziţiile cel mai des
folosite sunt: at = la, in = în, on = pe, for = pentru, from = din, de la, to = la,
către, above = deasupra, under = sub, near = lângă, by = lângă.

Exemple:

I go to school. Merg la(către) şcoală.

He comes home from his office. El se întoarce acasă de la birou.
This is for you. Asta este pentru tine.
We go on a trip to the Moon. Mergem într-o excursie pe(către) Lună.
The picture is above the desk. Tabloul este deasupra pupitrului.
The carpet is under the bed. Covorul este sub pat.
The cat sleeps near the window. Pisica doarme lângă fereastră.
We sit by the fire. Stăm lângă foc.
They are at school. Ei sunt la şcoală.
She is at home. Ea este acasă.
The book is in the bag. Cartea este în geantă.

Looking for Summer Visând la vară

Jim Patrick: Hi, Minnie. I hear you’re going to spend your summer holidays
in Romania. (Bună, Minnie. Aflu că o să-ţi petreci vacanţa de vară în
România.)
Minnie Jones: Yes, I am. I’m going there in August because I want to see
my sister and her family. (Da, aşa e. În august o să plec acolo pentru că
vreau să o văd pe sora mea şi familia ei.)
Jim Patrick: That sounds nice. Are you going to stay there long? (Sună
draguţ. Şi o să stai mult acolo?)
Minnie Jones: Yes. I want to travel around while I’m there, so I’m going to
stay there for a whole month. (Da. Vreau să călătoresc prin împrejurimi cât
timp o să fiu acolo, aşa că o să stau o lună întreagă.)
Jim Patrick: Great. What are you going to do there? (Grozav. Ce o să faci
acolo?)
Minnie Jones: I’m going to visit Maramureş to see again the places of my
childhood. I also want to go to the mountains and also to the sea-side and
visit my friends from Constanta. (O să vizitez Maramureşul ca să văd din
nou locurile copilăriei mele. Vreau să merg la munte, dar şi la mare să-i văd
pe prietenii mei din Constanţa.)
Jim Patrick: You’re so lucky. Are you going to take a ship and sail on the
Black Sea? (Eşti aşa norocoasă. O să navighezi cu vasul pe Marea
Neagră?)
Minnie Jones: I don’t know but I really want to do it. (Nu ştiu, dar vreau
foarte mult să o fac.)
Jim Patrick: What about Al? Is he going to join you on this trip to your
native country? (Dar Al? O să vină cu tine în călătoria către ţara ta natală?)
Minnie Jones: Unfortunately, he is going to stay home this time. He has to
work in August. (Din păcate, o să stea acasă de data asta. Trebuie să
lucreze în August.)
Jim Patrick: Anyway, I envy you, Minnie and I look forward to our summer
holidays in Romania next year. I’m going there with Paula to visit her
family. Please, take photos of the places you visit there. (Oricum, te
invidiez, Minnie şi abia aştept vacanţa noastră de vară în România, anul
viitor. O să mă duc acolo cu Paula în vizită la familia ei. Te rog să faci poze
cu locurile pe care le vizitezi acolo.)
Minnie Jones: Well, I’m going to take my video camera because I want to
show everyone what Romania is like when I get back. (Ei bine, o sa-mi iau
camera video pentru că vreau să le arăt tuturor aşa cum este România când
mă întorc.)
Jim Patrick: That’s a great idea. Have fun! (Este o idee foarte bună. Să te
distrezi!)

de oră are 15 minute sau 900 de secunde.
