While holding her stance, senior Jillian Diderich defends her opponents of Kenston High School.

Diedrich played lacrosse all four years during high school and made it to states her junior year.
Diedrich said, “I can’t believe that I am already a senior on the lacrosse team.”
While warming up for a game, senior Maddie Miralia leads her team to the sidelines. Miralia
played lacrosse all four years during her high school career and continued to support the team
each year in states. Miralia said, “Our team has always worked well together.”
While preparing to start the game, the girls varsity lacrosse team huddles up to motivate each
other. The girls lacrosse team for the 2018 year had 8 seniors on the team. Senior Mackenzie
Lurch said, “I love being a senior on the girls Lacrosse team and playing with kids younger than
me.”/
While walking to their positions, junior Celeste Bunker, senior Madeline Miralia, junior Olivia
Andresen, senior Isabelle Beg, and Avery Houston discuss their plays. Beg played lacrosse her
entire high school career.
While keeping her position, sophomore Creagan Mee waits for a pass in her game against
Kenston High School. Mee played on the JV team her freshman year and made the varsity team
her sophomore year.
While waiting for a shot, junior Celeste Bunker defends the goal against Kenston High School.
Bunker started for goalie and alternated playing time with senior Mackenzie Lurch.
While looking for a pass, senior Hannah Ducas holds her position during the game against
Kenston High School. Ducas played lacrosse her entire high school career and during her years
in middle school.
While looking for a pass, senior Reagan Dowling looks past the defenders of Kenston High
School. Dowling moved to Chagrin from Kentson in her middle school years and has been
playing on the Chagrin Lacrosse team since moving.
While taking the ball down the field, junior Kelly Wynveen looks for pass to one of her
teammates. Wynveen is the junior team captain along with the senior team captain Catherine
Beg.
While discussing plays before being substituted into the game, juniors Emma Orazen and Lucy
Fricke stand on the sideline. Orazen and Fricke practice everyday during every week after
school to improve their playing skills.
