SUBJECT: “WEB NEAR END” ALERT NOT DISPLAYED

SYMPTOM:
The “Web Near End” alert is not displayed on the Operation Panel.

CAUSE:
On some machines, SP5062-009 (Part Replacement Alert display Web Roll) was not enabled on the
production line.

SOLUTION:
Set SP5062-009 to a value of “1” (enabling the alert) at machine installation or the next service visit.

IMPORTANT:
If this SP is not turned ON, the Web Near End alert will not come up and the web end will come up suddenly.
This means that an EM call will occur. Therefore, change the SP setting at machine installation or the next
visit.

The serial number cut-in information was not available at time of this publication.
