IN SMPN 255 JAKARTA (Research Evaluation Of The Application Of DEM )
RATIH MAYYUANA ABSTRACT
This study aims to evaluate the implementation of english learning. It was
conducted in SMPN 255 Jakarta. The research methodology uses the evaluative model of flow through DEM. The data collection was taken through interviews, document inquiries, and observations. There are three sub-focuses examined in the research unit, (1) Operation of the program, (2) Results during the program (program interim products), and (3) End result of the program (the program terminal products). The results showed that: (1) Gaps occurred due to the educator’s monotony in the use of methods, was not taking advantage of the media learning to its full potential, materials not appropriate Permendikbud No. 15 of 2010 article 2 paragraph 2b of minimum service standard and was not taking a needs analysis in the manufacture of the syllabus and the RPP, (2) a gap happened occurred due to judgment that was not tajen against the attitude and character of students, (3) Gaps occurred due to lack of english language in the classroom.
