It is with great honor to recommend Alonzo Holmes as a recipient for any college or Career
Scholarship.

Alonzo Holmes has been a student of my for 4 years in my Ag Welding, Ag Small Engine,
Advanced Small Engines, and Diesel classes from 2014-2018. Alonzo is an excellent worker in
the shop and does an excellent job helping other students succeed. One of his finer qualities is his
hard work and dedication to succeed in any situation he is in.

Alonzo’s career goal is to be a Mechanic, I have no doubt that he will succeed. He is constantly
talking about his future with me and is very goal oriented. Alonzo is a great listener and follows
through with every task at hand. He is a hardworking individual, there is nothing that will stand
in his way until he becomes a successful Mechanic.

Alonzo plans to attend Merced College and earn a AA degree and become a mechanic. I have
seen Alonzo grow throughout his high school career, he has overcome many challenges that
school poses for him. At every opportunity he has to better himself as a student, he rises to the
occasion and becomes successful at whatever he wants to do.

I would recommend Alonzo Holmes for any type of college and career scholarship. If I can be
