My name is Soryajit Saini and I am a rising sophomore at California State University,

Northridge pursuing a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with a concentration in
Management and a minor in History. I am writing to apply to the Editorial Administration Intern
position for the summer of 2018 at Fox. During my first year at CSUN, I’ve accumulated a
unique set of experiences that have positioned me well for an internship this summer. I hope to
continue to build on this set of experiences this summer and work in an agile development
process through an internship at Fox.

I began my studies at CSUN as a Business student, spending the entirety of my freshman

year studying various subjects to understand the basics of business studies. While pursuing this
degree, I reached out personally to professors to make sure that I was on the best path possible
for my future. I have had the opportunity to take financial management courses, gaining a
working knowledge of the time value of money, including basic accounting and computer
science foundation. In addition, I am an active member of the Business Club, which has
complimented my studies by allowing additional opportunity to engage in discussions with peers
about business and the health of the economy.

My idea of prioritization, collaboration and time management have evolved over the past year
and I have become a much more focused person, academically and personally. I believe that my
organized work ethic and willingness to learn will help me contribute to the fast-paced and
dynamic culture of Fox. I am very interested in this opportunity and firmly believe that I will be
the perfect fit for this position.
