Romeo and Juliet Comic Strip Jigsaw

For this assignment, you will work in groups to read and draw a scene from Romeo and Juliet
in comic book form. At the end of the block, you will present your comic to the class. Please
note: YOU ONLY HAVE THE BLOCK TO COMPLETE THIS TASK.

Every person in your group must:


 Pick one quote from your group’s assigned scene that relates to an important:
o Plot point,
o Conversation,
o Introduction to a new character,
o Or character personality trait.
 Draw a picture that represents the meaning of that quote.
 Rewrite the quote in modern English
 Explain why you chose that quote/why this quote is important to the story.

When you and your group members have finished, paste all of your drawings and explanations
onto a large poster paper to present.
