To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing on behalf of my team, the athlete’s parents, and the rest of my coaching staff to
acknowledge Lindsey’s performance as an assistant coach and the mentor capacity she held for
our team this spring season.

Lindsey went above and beyond in offering her time and expertise to come out and help
coach/mentor not just our team but also another team as well. Lindsey served as base coach
during games for our team and also as a pitching, fielding, and hitting coach/mentor.

It is not every day a high school student/athlete is willing to sacrifice their time during school
week’s and over long weekend practices. To that end, Lindsey shows a level of maturity and
philanthropy that seems to be more uncommon these days. Her knowledge and level of care
for our team and their success is unmatched. It is her dedication to reaching out to a younger
generation of athletes that is truly inspiring.

It is without question our time working with Lindsey is testament to her ability to take on new
challenges. Teaching at a superior level and her willingness to give back to her community, a
testament to her maturity. We are so thankful for her outreach this year and know that she has
a bright future ahead!
