To Whom it May Concern,

I am writing in support of Alonzo Holmes for scholarship opportunities. I have known Alonzo
for four years as a student in several courses I teach. Alonzo will excel in college because of his
questioning mind. He is extremely dependable and a pleasure to teach.

Alonzo plans to attend college and will be the first in his family to graduate from college. The
reason I believe that Alonzo will be successful is because he is disciplined. Alonzo is very
conscientious about showing up on time and turning in his assignments. Another reason Alonzo
is a pleasure to teach is his sense of humor, he is fun to have in class. Alonzo is driven and
bright, there is no doubt in my mind he will be successful in life.
