To Whom It May Concern

I have had the pleasure of knowing London Ceja for the last four years, and was thrilled to be
her teacher for a year and a half when she participated in our school choir. Though London had
to leave choir this last semester due to prior theater commitments, I am happy to write this letter
for her, as she demonstrates exactly what I would love every student to be like.

London began choir as someone who wasn’t comfortable singing in front of others, and
over the course of one year went from a wallflower to a shining star, stepping up as a
section leader and providing constructive feedback to her peers. Her desire to ensure
that everyone is always doing their best is admirable, and she was never afraid to ask
questions to help her or others learn how to improve.

London has excelled in our school theater program, not only in acting and singing in El Capitan
productions, but even writing and directing her own play! The many hours and hard work she
dedicates herself to has allowed her to make tremendous growth in a short amount of time.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions. I would be more than
happy to expand on my recommendation.

Sincerely,

Maria Brouillard, Director of Bands El Capitan High School mbrouillard@muhsd.org
