To Whom It May Concern,
Ithas been my pleasure to serve as Ms. Brynn Hilsenbeck’s cooperating teacher throughout her
Elementary Education student teaching field experience. Ms. Hilsenbeck student taught in my
first grade classroom for fifteen weeks. Throughout those fifteen weeks, I found Ms. Hilsenbeck
to be a very responsible and dependent teacher who took her coursework and field experience
very seriously
Ms. Hilsenbeck was always well prepared with developmentally appropriate lessons. Her lesson
plans were always completed in a timely manner and included a variety of teaching and learning
strategies. She was able to teach regular education students, as well as learning support students
within the same classroom with ease. She completed all teaching tasks in a timely and
competent manner. She was able to assess students’ strengths and weaknesses and plan lessons
accordingly.
While at Cambria Heights Elementary School, Ms. Hilsenbeck built an excellent rapport with her
students and all building personnel. She approaches all tasks with a positive attitude and was
very flexible with schedule changes. While very self-directed and independent, she takes
criticism well and uses it to improve as a professional.
I would recommend Ms. Hilsenbeck as an Elementary teacher. I believe that she will be an asset
to any school district where she chooses to be employed.
Respectfully,
To. Bharn Biv
