Definition of Terms

The following terms used in the study are defined either theoretically or operationally for the

readers to clearly understand how the terms are used in the study.

Facebook. Facebook allows you to upload photos and maintain photo

albums that can be shared with your friends. It supports interactive online chat and the ability

to comment on your friend's profile pages, sometimes called "walls," in order to keep in touch,

share information or just to say "hi."

Student attitudes. Student attitudes on learning determine their ability and

willingness to learn. If negative attitudes are not altered, a student is unlikely to continue his

education beyond what is required. Changing students' negative attitudes towards learning is a

process that involves determining the factors driving the attitude and using this information to

bring about change.

Study. Study is an application of the mind to the acquisition of

knowledge, as by reading, investigation, or reflection.

Web 2.0. Web 2.0 is the current state of online technology as it compares to

the early days of the Web, characterized by greater user interactivity and collaboration, more

pervasive network connectivity and enhanced communication channels.

Regulation. Regulation is an abstract concept of management of complex

systems according to a set of rules and trends. In systems theory, these types of rules exist in

various fields of biologyand society, but the term has slightly different meanings according to

context. For example:


Program. Program is a plan of action to accomplish a specified end.
