In Mrs. Miles classroom the moment you enter the room you are over whelmed with color, music, and laughter.
The preschool classroom at Hermitage Elementary is small but is used to the best of its ability. The classroom
organized into four general areas helps keep the kids focused on their activity even if another group is doing an
activity. The door in the back leads to a fenced in outside area where the kids have tricycles, wagons, and a sand
box to play in. The door in the front is next to the backpack station, where kids drop off their jackets, snack, and
notebooks. The Carpet area is fitted with a smartboard, where the class will watch, sing, and dance to different
educational music and videos.
