To whom it may concer;
This letter is a recommendation of Alexander Miller for a scholarship at your university.
‘The yearlong extent of interaction I had with Alexander while he was enrolled in my U.S. history
class, allowed me to attain an opinion that is appreciative of his capabilities and attitude as a
student. Through extensive effort and heightened attentiveness, Alexander displayed an
understanding of the curriculum that exceeded my expectations as a teacher. His utmost diligence
and persistence for self-discipline has prompted me in believing that his placement in nearly any
position would equate to him accomplishing favorable results as evident in his maintaining of a
4.0 GPA. Not only are Alexander's academic successes impressive, but his strong character is
‘emboldened by the respect he has exhibited towards his fellow peers and I. An ability to
communicate effectively amongst others by maintaining high regards for diversity and an
unparalleled eloquence was quickly established by Alexander through the course.
Coupled with these reasons, an apparent obligation to behave empathetically, and
Alexander's display of impartiality, he has allowed for himself, the necessary social skills to
perform effectively amongst a society. As an extremely independent individual, itis of no
surprise to me that Alexander persists through unexpected hindrances by applying ingenuity and
possessing a lack of dismissal for a demanding situation. It is undoubtful that in future education,
these characteristics will prove beneficial in his completion of advanced placement classes. My
recommendation of Alexander Miller cannot be stressed enough as I ensure you his presence
‘would be an invaluable addition to your university.

To whom it may concern;
Tam writing to recommend Alexander Miller for a scholarship from your institution. I
have known Alexander for the past year and a half and have come to appreciate a number of
his qualities. Alexander was a student in my Advanced Placement English Language and
Composition class. This course is incredibly challenging and the rigor is elevated from a
normal high school course. Alexander demonstrated an ability to succeed in the course
through hard work and an attention to detail that is impressive. While in my class, Alexander
demonstrated a number of things that lead me to believe he will be successful in future
endeavors. I have observed Alexander to be a very passionate young man. He is strong in his,
convictions and is not afraid to share them with other people. If Alexander disagrees with
something, he will politely speak up and inquire as to why things are the way they are. This is
an especially helpful characteristic in class room discussion. He is able to dialogue and work
with individuals ina manner that promotes community and partnership in learning.
Through the aforementioned quality, Alexander demonstrates great leadership
potential. He has the ability to create positive and meaningful discourse through his,
questioning and insight. I am also impressed with Alexanders’ punctuality. He is very
concemed with being on time and allowing himself the ability to be successful through his
punctuality. I believe that Alexander will be successful in whatever he chooses to pursue after
his high school education is complete. He has the ability to adapt and excel in any situation he
finds himself in. In the world of higher education, itis paramount that a student be able to roll
with the punches and be flexible as the environment is a very independent one. Mr. Miller is a
very independent, introspective person. He has the ability to function in a rigorous course and
this will serve him well. [highly recommend Alexander Miller for a scholarship from your
institution. It would be in your best interest to partner with Alexander in assisting him in
reaching his goals. You will not regret it.
