The Story of Pentecost

Cut out the parts of the Pentecost story out and put them in chronological order.

Jesus’ followers began to do many miracles. They also

told people about God’s love and how Jesus had come
to save them.

They were filled with the Holy Spirit and now had the
ability to speak different languages.

Peter and John went to the Temple.

 Jesus’ friends and helpers gathered together to pray.

The people of Jerusalem heard Jesus’ followers

speaking about the great things that God had done in
their own language.

A strong wind filled the room.

 Drawing upon the grace of God, Peter healed the
man and he could now walk!

A man who couldn’t walk, sat outside of the Temple,

begging for Monday. Peter said he had no money to
give them man but something else to offer.

Tongues of fire flickered over everyone’s heads.
