It is my pleasure to recommend Cynthia Brooks as a future educator at your

school. I have been Cynthia’s student mentor since October 2013 when she began
her education journey to earn her Bachelor of Arts Interdisciplinary Studies
degree, and we have communicated on a weekly and bi-weekly basis during this
time. Through our weekly contacts, I have witnessed Cynthia’s intimate
knowledge of the learning process and her knowledge of curriculum and
instruction. Cynthia’s determined focus on helping students succeed is always at
the forefront. She has demonstrated outstanding problem solving skills, has firm
convictions, yet a soft delivery, and is one who genuinely cares about people.
Cynthia is always prepared, organized and dependable. She possesses superb
communication skills and maintains a professional rapport. She has the ability to
enter situations with a careful eye and with vigilance. It has become clearly
evident to me that Cynthia views herself as a life-long learner and values
education and the important role of a teacher. For these reasons, she is a
formidable teacher candidate and will be a great asset to any team or position. It
