About: since she was 16. I chose to interview Stephanie as I previously did a course with
her a few years ago when doing photography at GCSE. I wanted some extra help
and wanted to know more about photography. However I know that Stephanie
used to teach film photography to students at college, so I know that she has a lot
of knowledge on film photography.
Interview with Stephanie, as well as her showing me her studio and a bit about

About: photography at GCSES and has carried on studying it for A-level. I feel
that using Millie would benefit me as she can give me her opinion on
photography and what she thinks about the changed of photography and
the film photography side. This way I can then compare her interview
against Danielle’s. Doing this means I can show different ways in which
people believe photography is.
Scenes: Millie’s interview. Some B-roll with Millie in it.

About: I want to interview my Grandad as he has a lot of experience when it
comes to photography. He’s the reason I’m into photography, and
would like to get his opinion on photography all together, but also to
show the comparison of opinions from different ages. As he’s older
he’s more likely to have more experience.

photography is. Why he does photography.

About: within her photography. I’ve had her talk about the benefits of film to me so much
and thought she would be great to interview as she has first-hand experience.
However she has a film camera of her own which will come in use to me as a prop. I
will be questioning Danielle on her views about film photography, the benefits,
would she recommend it, comparing it to digital cameras etc.

Lighting: The dark room will be dark everywhere throughout the

filming, but there will be some red lights around the room for the development of the film Images. I don’t
think I’m allowed but if I am allowed to use an additional lighting then I will use a LED light throughout.
Solution: If I can’t use an additional light, then there isn’t anything I can do but I just need to make sure
that I have some sort of light.
Sound: I’ll have Danielle (Actor 4) going through the process of developing film, which will cause a bit of
background noise. However there will be other people in the dark room making background noise.
Solution: When it comes to editing that I edit the background noise out, instead put Danielle’s narrative
behind the footage, as it will make it more effective.
Power: Some of the machines in the dark room will be powered by electricity. My camera will be powered by
a battery along with the batteries in the additional lighting if I use it.
Solution: Charge my camera up fully, but also make sure I take a spare camera battery and spare batteries
for the additional lighting. I will have to use power to recharge my camera if it suddenly ran out, which
means I’ll be wasting my filming time.
