Weebly
The teacher-designed website is used as a hub for this module of work. It allows all
the content to be put up in one place, providing a good reference point to start each
lesson. It is a learning tool in that all the required content knowledge of the course is
contained within the website and can be accessed any time. The content is then
logically sequenced to slowly introduce students to new topics and information.

Kahoot
The online software is a great way to gamify curriculum knowledge, that might
otherwise be perceived as boring, into a challenging contest with low-stakes.
Additionally, it can be used as a formative assessment tool to check students’
understanding. It is an excellent way to reinforce knowledge on a topic, providing
instantaneous feedback to a student and identifying potential areas of weakness.

Padlet
This online platform was selected a to aide in facilitating online collaboration. It is
excellent in providing a shared space for student work. It is monitorable as a teacher,
ensuring students must remain on track with their tasks, with a certain amount of
accountability to fellow students. The tool allows students to share content with each
other, updating in real-time, providing a snapshot of the shared knowledge of a
classroom.

Vernier Video Physics


Using this iPad application is a great hook to get student involved. It also is a great
link between the physical and technological worlds, providing plenty of opportunities
for hands on, tactile experiences, great for many learners. It is a great way to explore
physics at a student’s own pace, investigating various properties of motion. Allows
students to discover the variety of functions of the application.
