Interviewer: How do you manage your time given that you are a student and also a member a dancer of
one of the well-known group here in Leyte Normal University.

Interviewee: Of Course time management. How do I manage? In academics, there are projects that are
to be submitted so I make them ahead of time and then as a Mapeh student and as a performer we
don’t have a night class that’s why in morning acads and in afternoon dance rehearsals. So, its not really
really difficult.

Interview: Is there a situation wherein you being a dancer become a barrier of being a student?

Interviewee: Yes, if we have so many performances just like last foundation week every day there is a
performance and of course we also have classes just like when we ushered and then there is a project
that needs to be passed and I thought how will I able to manage my acads if we also have a performance
which is demanding for our time it is difficult if we have many performances but if there’s no
performances then we can chill.

Interviewer: Was there a time wherein you decided to quit dancing so that you can focus on your
studies?

Interviewee: So far, No.

Interviewer: As in No?

Interviewee: Yes because I am also enjoying our performances

Interviewer: So it’s your passion?

Interviewee: Yes

Interviewer: What inspired you to continue your journey as a student and also as a dancer?

Interviewee: As a student of course it is very good if you are able to graduate you have a degree that
you finished and as a dancer yes it is my passion and whenever I see people performing on stage I
thought WOW they are awesome I want to be like them that’s why I am still going to continue this and
also I have so many idols just like one of our member Emil his is even from Makiling. Of course I am also
inspired.

Interviewer: What advise will you give to those students who are still struggling to balance their acads
and their extracurricular activities?

Interviewee: for them to be able not to experience conflict they should manage their time. Just like this
time is for me, this time is for my extracurricular and then for activities. That’s it, manage your time so
that you will not experience difficulty. If the time comes that you will think to give up always remember
that your friends are there to support you then pray and believe in yourself that you will make it
