Good Day! We would like to inform you that you have been selected to par cipate in a case study on the 
“Scholars’ Percep ons of Facebook for Academic Purposes”. Our study aims to inves gate Facebook use 
for learning purposes and its role in educa on. This survey has 2 major parts. The first part consists of 4 
ques ons about students’ pa erns of Facebook usage and the second part consists of 36 ques ons 
aimed at assessing the variables of our model.  

Your par cipa on in this survey is completely voluntary.  You may refuse to take part in the case study 

without any nega ve consequences. The data that you will provide will be secured and will be kept with 
utmost confiden ality.
