My name is Jason R. King and I am writing on behalf of an exceptional young lady, Amber
McCool, to offer my highest praise, as well as to testify as to her capability and character. I
have taught Amber in two subject areas, English I Honors and Advanced Placement Capstone
Seminar. In spite of being fundamentally different courses, Amber rose to all challenges and
performed across a variety of educational modalities in a consistently exceptional manner. On
several occasions in both courses, Amber's work was assessed to be superior, and ultimately
used as an exemplar model for her peers. I would assess her to be in the top 5% of students in
terms of aptitude and executive functioning.

In addition to her intellectual prowess, Amber is both empathetic and compassionate. I have
witnessed her on numerous occasions utilizing her gifts to ensure the growth and success of her
peers. From study groups to project management, Amber has demonstrated a deft ability to
command the respect of her peers while ensuring the success of her team toward the
satisfaction of all goals and objectives.

Without reservation or equivocation, I attest to Amber McCool as a value-added member of my

school and community. I have absolutely no doubt that she will bring positivity, growth, and
