Additionally, she attended every IEP, Evaluation, and parent meeting, as ‘well as volunteering to be trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and joining a group study of Whole Brain Teaching, Paige sought to learn as much as possible, frequently asking questions and showing initiative from the first day. Ms, Price was in my classtoom three days per week throughout the Fall semester and split time between special education classrooms and a regular education classroom five days per week during the Spring semester. The PDS model allowed Paige to have the unique experience of opening and closing the classroom and teaching and co-teaching with me throughout the entire school year. Paige also created her own materials to enrich leerning in the classroom, Her writing instruction included creating and teaching lessons on narrative, expository, persuasive, and poetry writing. The writing lessons were adapted to the different levels of the writers and incorporated the five steps of the writing process. Paige also used ‘Aimsweb probes in reading and math to obtain progress monitoring data. Paige possesses a positive and enthusiastic personality. She has a great rapport with the students she has worked with. She is well dressed, articulate, and always ready with a smile and a kind word. [ observed Paige's efforts to create positive working relationships with other staff members and in turn she was accepted 2s part ofthe staff at Fem Hill Elementary, not just a student teacher. Our students will be sed to see her go. 1am confident that Ms, Price will be an asset to any professional staff. She is confident, knowledgeable, and has the skills to be a successful teacher.
