‘To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is written on behalf of Lauren Lazzarini, a student at Windsor
High School that | have had the pleasure of knowing for four years.
Lauren has my highest recommendation
| first met Lauren when she was a freshman and joined my Leadership
class. Lauren chose Leadership as an elective not only because she was
interested in becoming more involved in student life, but because she
was striving to grow as a person and viewed Leadership as a learning
opportunity. For this reason, Lauren has demonstrated a maturity
beyond her years, since | have known her.
Lauren has participated in a variety of extracurricular activities, both
within the Windsor High School campus, and the community beyond.
Lauren has effectively held an office on Student Council all four years of
high school, culminating as the Senior Class President. As well, Lauren
was a founding member of the WHS “S” Club, a subsidiary of Soroptimist
International of Windsor. Lauren is kind and caring and often puts
others’ wellbeing before her own. As an active member of Girl Scouts of
‘America, Lauren planned and executed a “Senior Prom” for the senior
residents of a local retirement home. Because of Lauren's extensive
community service, she was awarded the Violet Richardson Scholarship
‘Award by Soroptimist during her junior year.
Lauren is a hard-working student and is passionate about being
successful not only academically but in her personal relationships with
Peers and teachers. She values close relationships with adults, and has
volunteered and worked in a variety of health care settings to put her
talents and strengths to work.
Please accept this as my highest recommendation for Lauren Lazzarini,
as a potential recipient of a scholarship or college admission. She will be
an asset to any program she belongs to and will represent any group in
the best possible manner.
Thank you for your consideration,
oa a

To Whom It May Concern:
It is a pleasure to write a letter of endorsement for one of the most promising young.
women entering the medical field, Ms. Lauren Lazzarinu. | have had the privilege of
knowing her, for eight years. During our association, | have witnessed Ms. Lazzarini
transform herself from a shy, quiet girl and blossom into a confident leader who has
consistently and resolutely pursued her passion for nursing. She is currently one of
the “star students,” in WHS’ Pre-Med Core, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Ms. Lazzarini has
the honor of being a CSF member and has remained on the honor roll, with a 4.0
GPA, during all four years of her high school education. Her goal is to attend your
distinguished school of nursing and study labor and delivery. Rare is the applicant of
Ms. Lauren Lazzarini’s depth.
In addition to her scholastic achievements, she has also completed her Medical
Nurse Camp Certification, at Kaiser Permanente during the summer 2017, while also
serving as the Junior Class Vice President. During this time, she was transitioning to
become the Senior Class President, for the fall of 2017. Ms. Lazzarini also holds a
Heartsaver CPR/First Aide Certification.
She is also a strong presence in the volunteer community and was honored by the
International Soroptimist, of Windsor CA, for her tireless volunteer work and
received the coveted Violet Richerson Award. Ms. Lazzarini was also esteemed by
the Girl Scouts and earned her Girl Scout Silver Award for completing over 50 hours
of community service for the planning and execution of a “Senior Prom,” at a local
retirement community, that bought much joy and laughter to its residents. She also
participated in yearlong leadership training by Tomorrow's Leaders Today and was
awarded with their certification.
Ms, Lazzarini is currently building on her medical knowledge and experience by
working as a veterinary technician assistant and is studying American Sign
Language at the Santa Rosa Junior College. Every class, every choice is motivated by
her one desire, to become a nurse.

What distinguishes Ms. Lauren Lazzarini, from all other nursing applicants, are her
steely grit, determination and laser like focus on her one goal, a nursing degree. I
have a deep admiration and respect for Lauren who has faced and tackled her
learning disabilities, her anxiety disorder, and several moves during her educational
career and family challenges. She remains undaunted and focused on her future, not
her past. Lauren Lazzarini is one of the most resilient young women I have had the
privilege of watching and learning from. She is warm, inviting, an excellent leader
and possesses as a wicked sense of humor.
I fully recommend Ms. Lauren Lazzarini for your program and guarantee that
awarding her admission and investing in her will produce one of the finest minds in
the nursing field.
