The dry film is firm, amber, waxy and translucent. TECYL 506 is excellent for long term protection of metalic surfaces against corrosion in either indoor or outdoor exposure and during domestic and international shipments. Apply at 10~35 by spray, dip or brush. The maximum performance of TECTYL 506 can only be achieved when the metal surfaces to be protected are clean and dry. Remove dirt, rust, scaling paint and other contaminants before applying T 506, RECOMMENDED USES TECTYL 506 protects equipment or material stored in sheds or outdoors for long periods. It Is particularly useful for pipe or structural steel where identification markings must be visible through the protective film. ‘This product protects unpackaged material or equipment shipped overseas, Itis recommended for use on external parts of machine tools stored outdoors, ‘on motor blocks, dies, farm machinery and numerous other metal items.
