Arrival in BILBAO: Airport pick up on scheduled times (8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)
September 4 (Tuesday)
8:50 a.m. Group meets at the University of Deusto. Main entrance (Information desk at revolving
doors).
Families will guide students to the University. A CIDE representative will guide dorm
residents to the University.
9:00 a.m. Official welcome. Room: Auditorio.
9:15-10:15 a.m. Spanish placement test. Room: TBA
10:30 a.m. – 12:00 First orientation session. Room: TBA
p.m.
12:30 p.m. Official welcome to all foreign students at the University of Deusto. Room: Auditorio.
2 -4 p.m. Bilbao Tour.
September 5 (Wednesday)
9:00 a.m. Group meets at the main entrance (Information desk).
9:00-9:45 a.m. Tour: University of Deusto.
10:00-12:00 p.m. UD + Academic orientation session. Room: TBA
12:15 p.m. Briefing session on security in Bilbao. Room: TBA
1:00 p.m. Meetings with students interested in taking a regular University of Deusto course.
September 6 (Thursday)
9:00 a.m. Group meets for course distribution by levels. Room: TBA
11:10 a.m. Classes start.
September 7 (Friday)
Excursion to Plentzia and Getxo. Meeting place and time: traffic circle by university. 12:00 p.m.
September 11 (Tuesday)
10.50-11:10 a.m. Briefing session on integration opportunities at the University of Deusto. Room: TBA
September 14 (Friday)
Visit to the Guggenheim Museum. Meeting place and time: 10:30 a.m, by Puppy, big flower dog.
September 20 (Thursday)
Official registration deadline.
September 21-22-23 (Friday-Sunday)
Tour: Madrid and Toledo. The group will be accompanied by several CIDE Program coordinators. Travel
expenses, tickets to museums, hotel and meals included. Meeting place and time: TBA.
October 5 (Friday)
Excursion to South of France. Travel expenses and lunch included. Meeting place and time: TBA.
October 12 (Friday)
No class. Holiday: Nuestra Señora del Pilar
October 19 (Friday)
Excursion to towns within the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve. Travel expenses and lunch included. Meeting place
and time: TBA.
November 1 (Thursday)
No class. Holiday: All Saints’
November 22 (Thursday)
Thanksgiving Dinner.
December 6-7 (Thursday-Friday)
No class. Holiday: Constitution Day and Inmaculada.
December 17-18-19 (Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday)
Final exams.
December 19 (Wednesday)
Last day of final exams. Closing ceremony. Meeting place and time: TBA (around 5:30 p.m.)* PLEASE SEE

Students leave the Residence Hall or family.
