CEDRIC​: So old-school, but girls like cheesy stuff... (thinks
hard) like pizza. Girls love pizza. ... (mostly saying to
himself) I'd like some pizza...

ZAC​: Wasn't that the point?

EVERYONE EXCEPT ALLAN​: (nods)
ALLAN​: Okay. Hmm.. How do I start? (clears throat) Hey Camille,
so how are you? Are you- wait, that sounds like a stupid
beginning. Uh, how about, "Hey Camille, I like you." Wait,
that's even more stupid. I shouldn't tell her right away. Right?
ZAC​: Why don't you start with a pick-up line? (winks)
CEDRIC​: Yeah, you should try that. Say something like "Do you
have a Band-Aid? Because I just scraped my knee falling for
you."
EVERYONE​: (stares at CEDRIC)
ANGELO​: I have a better one! I thought happiness started with an
H. Why does mine start with U?
EVERYONE​: (stares at ANGELO)
ALLAN​: Well, okaaay. But I need someone to pretend to be
Camille. Hey Raf- I.. I mean, hey Cedric. Can you pretend to be
her?
CEDRIC​: Sure, what are friends for, right?
ALLAN​: (clear throat) Hey Camille!
CEDRIC​: (acts annoyingly girly) (high pitched) Hi!
ZAC, RAFAEL​: (facepalm)(holds back laughter) (respectively)
ALLAN​: I have a question.
CEDRIC​: (girly voice) What is it?
ALLAN​: Are you a thief? Because you stole my heart. (pause,
looking proud, then looks frustrated again) Okay, ​that sounds
stupid. (possible i-adlib nalang, if you want)
CEDRIC​: (high pitch) You know what, (clears throat) just say
what you want to say.
RAFAEL​: Act natural and go with the flow.
ZAC​: Be a man!
ANGELO​: She's coming!
RAFAEL​: You can do this!
ENTER CAMILLE
CAMILLE​: Hey guys, what's going on?
RAFAEL, ANGELO, CEDRIC, ZAC​: (starts to play)

JULIA​: (enters from right side) HEEEY, IS AAAaaaa... (cough)
(tiptoes towards ALLAN's friends, nudges them) Pssst... Hey, is
Allan around?
ANGELO​: No, he left to go get something.
JULIA​: Okay, good. Can you tell me (looks around) Can you tell
me who Allan is courting?
RAFAEL​: Uh, sorry Julia, we don't know.
CEDRIC​: Nah, we don't. At all. No idea. Serious. Like yeah, no
idea.
JULIA​: But you're his friends; you should know!
ZAC​: Are you telling ​me​ what ​I​ should know?
ANGELO​: What ​do​ you know?
ZAC​: (waves him off) Point is, we don't know where he is. Blah.
JULIA​: (groans)
EXIT JULIA
ANGELO​: So, she's the one who has a crush on Allan.

years.
CEDRIC​: I heard that it's been six. Woah, that's like our entire
grade school life. Weird.
RAFAEL​: What's weird though is that Allan has a crush on
Camille.

CEDRIC​: What's weird? ​Duh​, Camille and Julia are like BFFs!
ZAC​: You sound like you're gay.
ANGELO​: Gay means happy. He does sound happy to me.
RAFAEL:​ (facepalm) What did I do to have you as friends?
ENTER FELIZ, PENELOPE, TONIE, REESE, CAMILLE
TONIE​: Cedric my babe!
CEDRIC​: Tonie my love!

Main idea for this: Just show how the characters are like. Para
comedy, guys. Relate rin to story and audience.

FELIZ​: Where's Julia?
REESE​: (shrugs) Not here.
TONIE​: (obnoxious laugh) Like obviously. Can't you not see that?
Thanks, Captain Obvious. (sarcastic thumbs up)
PENELOPE​: Guys, keep it down. I'm trying to study here.
FELIZ​: Study...?
ENTER ALLAN
ALLAN​: Camille?
CAMILLE​: (takes a deep breath) Yeah?
ALLAN​: Can we talk?
PENELOPE​: I believe it's ​may​ we talk.
REESE​: May we talk? Can't it be ​June​ we talk? (laugh)
EVERYONE​: (frustrated faces)
CAMILLE​: What is it this time, Allan?
ALLAN​: I just wanted to give you this. (gives her a box of
chocolates)
TONIE​: Oh my gosh, chocolates! (grabs the box out of Allan's
hands) Ferrero!
PENELOPE​: Pinhead/ignoramus , that's—
REESE​: The chocolates named after me!
PENELOPE​: Fool! It's the other way around! You're named after
them!
REESE​: At least I'm not named Pe-ne-lope.
PENELOPE​: It's Pe-ne-lo-pe. Not Pe-ne-lope.
FELIZ​: Cantaloupe? The animal?
*insert adlib*
PENELOPE​: (rolls eyes)
ALLAN​: Uh, okay. Anyway, I hope you're having a great day.
CAMILLE​: Hmm, yeah. Thanks for... that. Although, it'd be better
if you just stop it. I won't let you go through something that's
pointless.
ALLAN​: (shakes his head) No, it's fine. It isn't pointless. I'll
see you. (waves)

CAMILLE​: (sighs)
TONIE​: I hope he brings more tomorrow. I need more.
CAMILLE​: Did you just finish them?
TONIE​: I couldn't help it. You know me and chocolate. We're
pals.
CAMILLE​: No more. No more chocolates from him. No. More.
REESE​: Why? Maybe that's why he gives you chocolate; you're
always grumpy.
CAMILLE​: (sighs) You wouldn't understand.

CAMILLE​:(peacefully sitting on a chair, reading a book)
ENTER JULIA​, out of breath, obviously tired
JULIA​: Camille! Hey, Camille! (proceeds to sit next to her) Have
you heard?
CAMILLE​: Heard what? What's new?
JULIA​: I've heard that Allan's courting someone... Know anything
about that?
CAMILLE​: Hmm... No. Nope. Not a thing.
JULIA​: You're sure? Absolutely sure? Haven't heard anything—?
CAMILLE​: I'm sure. (smile) The first thing I hear a thing, I'll
tell you immediately. (pauses) I promise.
JULIA​: Swear?
CAMILLE​: I swear. Anyway, I already have his number. I'll just
send it to you, yeah?
JULIA​: (nods excitedly) Thank you so much! (hugs CAMILLE)
CAMILLE​: ...anything for a friend. (hugs back)

JULIA is at the front right ALLAN is at the left center

(Technically, through text but for the sake of the play, will be
spoken words while pretending to type them.)
JULIA​: Hi there. (grin emoji)
ALLAN​: Hi. Who's this?
JULIA​: I'm, um, Lucy. We're from the same school, yeah. Same
batch.
ALLAN​: Yeah. I think I do know you. I'm Allan. Which you already
know. Hahaha. Right?
JULIA​: LOL, yeah. What you doing?
ALLAN​: Eh, nothing much. Just texting, chilling. You?
JULIA​: Same same. So I heard you're courting someone?
ALLAN​: Um. Yes. How did you know?

ALLAN​: What was that about...?
CAMILLE​: (shakes head) Another thing you wouldn't understand.

ALLAN​: Why not?

ALLAN​: I ​am​ opening my eyes. And all I see is you.

ALLAN​: I better fix things.
RAFAEL​: No! Let them settle things first. Then make a move.
ALLAN​: No, I started this. If I'd seen it earlier...
PENELOPE​: I agree with Rafael. It's between them now.

CAMILLE​: You don't under—

wrong. Didn't a thought of you being wrong ever cross your mind?

in a snap!
CAMILLE​: I did this because I'm of you! I didn't want to hurt
you!
JULIA​: Do you think that not hurt right now?
CAMILLE​: It seemed like the best option!
JULIA​: But it wasn't! Stop talking to me!
CAMILLE​: Fine. If that's what you want. Just remember that I
tried my best. I always did.

ENTER ALLAN
ALLAN​: (Funny dramatic) I don't know whats going on. I try to

sound gay but why is this so complicated? What am I going to do?

off by Camille)
CAMILLE​: I’m sorry to interrupt your little contemplating
moment. We can’t talk here. Meet me at the locker hallway later
after class. Bye. (Looks around and exits hurriedly)
ALLAN​: Well that was random. Now to continue. What should I d--
(cut off by Julia)
JULIA​: I know this is embarrassing but I want to get this over
with. Woooh meet me by the locker hallway later 4:15. ASAP.

LIGHTS ON
ALLAN​: Two girls and only one me. Should I feel loved by now?
(stares at the flowers he’s holding) She loves me. She loves me

(standing in the middle, holding a bouquet of flowers, waiting)

ALLAN​: (initially hesitates) So, I’ve made up my mind.
CAMILLE​: (looks up at him)
JULIA​: (looks at him and raises eyebrows)
ALLAN​: (shifts to his left, then to his right, then stands up
straight again, and makes as if to move towards either)
