Students in this course select distinct topics of interest which they research extensively, ultimately leading to the development of a final product and distribution to a professional audience, The following information presents details of the proposed project as planned by the student ‘Student: Anirudh Karegowdra Date: 5/29/18 Research Tile: Tissue Technology: The Future of Transplantation Purpose: The intrinsic basis of this meta analysis was to expand the outreach of current knowledge and provide substantial results regarding current methodologies utilized when addressing the issue of tissue transplanting, Furthermore, the basis intends Expected Product/ Outcome ‘The plan of this research i to create a comparative analysis in the form of a paper in which the researcher will compare clinical data from multiple experiments utilizing a particular method of tissue engineered organ on test subjects. The data will be compared and communicated to find the best method of tissue engineering for organ transplant patients, Once data is aggregated and confined onto paper format, the researcher will aim towards publication of the paper. Additionally, presentations towards target audiences will also be a strong means of communication and distribution. Novelty of Product ‘The major issue within the field of biomedical engineering is the need for viable transplantation methods which both efficiently and effectively stimulate cellular growth, thus regenerating tissues. This project intends to communicate three specific solutions and raise awareness tothe issue of transplantation due tothe fact that it applies to nearly a third of the nation. Intended Audience:The intended audience consists of biomedical engineers and radiology specialists who require new solutions for transplantation, as much of the treatment now is not entirely functional and viable. Furthermore the researcher is planning on addressing doctors in hospitals as well to provide insight as to new methods being developed to replace traditional transplantation methods. Process/Methodol. Begin broad topic research by compiling articles and sources regarding biomedical engineering Secure a narrowed topic within the field/core issue that research will focus on: Transplanting "Network with professionals to seek advisorship: Dr-Rosemarie Hunziker Begin project work by compiling articles and sources in order to utilize for assignments Formulate outlines for research paper and begin preliminary work Finalize research paper and begin work on display boards/final outreach Revise paper and finalize data collection for integration Distribute data collection and final research through presentation methods Revise research for publication during the summer ‘Teacher's Signature: May hn aver Student Signature, bade h Class of 2020
