INSTALLATION METHODS

 You must have received 8 files in your email. Download the ATPDraw.partXX.rar
package. (where XX is from 01 – 08)
 Right click on anyone of those 8 files >> click “Extract Here”. After this step you will
have two folders as show below.

 Copy this two folders to any appropriate drive. [ Say D: or E: ]

 To start ATP-EMTP; Go inside ATPDraw folder » Double click Atpdraw.exe
 It may ask to create several folders in local folder, please click YES.
 Once ATPDraw starts, Goto Tools » Options » Preference tab. Dialog box will appear as
shown below.

o Test editor: Keep it as it is.

 o ATP: Click Browse » Select runATP_G.bat, from ATPDraw folder.
In our case: S:\ATPDraw\runATP_G.bat
[In our case Drive letter is S:\]
o Armafit: click Browse » Goto atp folder » Select armafit.exe.
In our case: S:\atp\armafit.exe
o Plot Program:- Click browse » Goto atp » Then PlotXY » Select PlotXWin.exe.
In our case S:\ATP\PlotXY\PlotXWin.exe
o windSyn: click Browse Goto atp folder » Then windsyn(1) » Then WindSyn » Select
WindSyn.exe.
In our case S:\ATP\windsyn (1)\WindSyn\WindSyn.exe

After above configuration click Apply and Save, It should look something like below.

 Now you have to configure one file called runATP_G.bat for that do following
o Goto ATPDraw and open runATP_G.bat in notepad (or Notepad++), shown below

o On 2nd line set gnudir =S:\atp\ put proper Driver Letter as per you PC configuration, so
it should look like <your_drive>:\atp\ [trailing backslash is important]
o Save It.

So, Installation is process is Complete.

 HOW TO RUN AN EXAMPLE FILE IN ATP

Few short Cuts:

 Open File: Ctrl + O

 Run: F2
 Plot: F8
 View LIS file: F5
