Technical Information Bulletin

Zampro® Fungicide
n Zampro fungicide is highly effective for control of Oomycete fungi in
grape, potato, hop, and vegetables
n Premix containing ametoctradin (Initium®) and dimethomorph
n Ametoctradin is first fungicide developed in triazolopyrimidylamines
chemical class

Ametoctradin is a strong inhibitor of mitochondrial respiration in complex III

and has shown to be very active against zoospores and zoosporangia.
Dimethomorph interferes with normal cell wall deposition and is active at
all stages in the fungal life cycle.

Research indicates that Zampro fungicide is most effective when applied

preventively and in spray programs with other modes of action. The
combination of two different modes of action provides improved fungicide
resistance management over applications of single mode of action products.
