I also understand you have been «generally supportive of the project for its potential for sustainable development. As you know, as the body that approves actions by the planning commission for Salt Lake County, the County Council voted on Tuesday, June 5 to advance the project. Since that time, I have received a great deal of input from residents living in cities near the proposed development. Given concems | have heard from residents over the past two days, I respectfully request that you postpone your vote on the development proposal from your scheduled date of June 13, 2018 to a future MSD board meeting. Postponing the vote could provide an opportunity to respond to residents’ concems by considering altematives that may result in a plan that addresses not only the needs of residents represented by the MSD but also the concerns expressed by residents in neighboring cities.
