Public Invited to Help Shape Themes for


Neighborhood Water Parks at Community Meetings
El Paso, TX - The City of El Paso as part of its efforts to revamp and modernize its aquatics program invites the
public to come out and help develop themes for the five neighborhood water park projects, one planned for each
side of El Paso.

Five community meetings have been set for these projects. Each water park will offer a unique water experience
based on its brand/theme to be inspired by the local culture and public opinion captured through an extensive
outreach process. Water park amenities will include: a lap pool, slides, a lazy river, wading pool, cabanas and
much more to appeal to people of all ages. The community meetings schedule is listed below:

These projects will serve the entire community, while transforming the overall experience for visitors with new
amenities and multi-generational services. They are funded by the 2012 Quality of Life Bond Program along with
the City’s Capital Plan, and are part of the City’s commitment to enhance El Paso’s quality of life for residents,
businesses, residents and visitors.
