Glutamine
Behind Glutamine

-Glutamine: an amino acid that is a building block of protein

-Your body can produce Glutamine but it can also be obtained from
foods and supplements.

-Glutamine is found in human blood, skeletal muscle, small intestine

and the kidneys.
Athletes choose to enhance glutamine because they think that it can
stop rise of cortisol levels during and after a hard workout. It allows
muscle synthesis to occur even during a recovery. Glutamine can also
keep the immune system strong. Athletes take glutamine because it
can build of their muscle and regulate their diet because it gives them
vitamine b. Although it may have benefits when a person takes this
substance it can affect your immune system by causing muscle and
joint pain this is skeletal muscle system and can affect your digestive
system.
The impacts of Glutamine
Basically glutamine and other amino acid share the same transporters. And when more
glutamine is introduced in the body it may mess up amino acid distribution among tissues
and their absorption in the gut and kidneys. Also when taking too much of glutamine
muscle wasting may occur, which means muscles may get weaken and causes muscle,
joint and back pain.
