For this assignment you will present to the class your group’s assigned
topic relating to business ethics to the class. Your group will be assigned
a topic & pages from the provided textbook chapter (PDF file linked
from ENT 12 Page at www.ictclass.ca ).

Your group will create a PowerPoint presentation and present on the

following topics:

Group A: Fraud (Pg 82-84)

- List & Explain the 9 types of Fraud

- Explain the Bre-X example

Group B : Accounting Scandals (pg 86 – 88)

- Define: Accounting Scandal, Forensic Accountant, Embezzlement, Auditors

- Describe the ‘Enron’ accounting Scandal

Group C : Ethics & Corporate Social Responsibility [CSR] (Pg 91-92)

- What is CSR, and why do some companies practice it?

- Describe & provide real-world examples of the 6 CSR Principles

Group D : Workplace Safety (Pg 94)

- Historically, what is true about workplace safety?

- How do people often get sick or injured at the workplace today?
- How might a company take PROACTIVE measures to present employee illness and injury?
