Job Description

System Assurance Engineer

The System Assurance (SA) Engineer will work under direction of the System
Assurance Manager (SAM). The System Assurance Engineer will perform RAMS
(Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) analyses and coordinate, guide and
support other RAMS engineering groups.

Specific tasks and responsibilities include:


• Perform and review RAM modelling and analysis
• Perform and review Safety assessments
• Guide and direct subcontractors and other suppliers as required to achieve
RAMS objectives
• Integrate RAMS elements into a coherent RAMS program in accordance with
existing plans and procedures
• Work in compliance to EN 50126, EN 50128, IEC 61508 and associated
standards
• Coordinate with counterparts in other groups
• Prepare reports and analyses as required
• Provide support on the system-wide level RAMS deliverables
• Work with other SA engineer(s) to ensure timely submission of all RAMS
deliverables
• Perform other duties as assigned by the SA Manager.

As our ideal candidate:


• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate engineering (Electrical, Electronic,
Mechanical) discipline;
• Your possess at least three years of experience in engineering;
• You possess knowledge of EN 50126, EN 50128 and IEC 61508 standards and
experience in applying RAMS for the Rail Sector;
• You possess Microsoft Office Suite, CAD drawings and Visio software proficiency;
• You possess the ability to communicate and write in English. Ability to
communicate in Thai and/or Japanese is an advantage.

Additional information: Some field work will be required during the installation and
commissioning stages of the project
